I want to share one of Addie and Lily's favorite breakfast choices, Weetabix. Like me, you may have exhausted oatmeal and peanut butter toast as healthy breakfast options for your kids. We have found a way to make this little brick of wheat taste really good and the girls love it. The nutritional value is also impressive being low in sugar (1g/biscuit), low in fat (0.5g/ biscuit) and high in fiber (2g/biscuit).

Find the cereal at your local grocery store so you can try this quick morning breakfast. This is what it looks like:

What you need:
1 weetabix biscuit
1/3 cup boiling water
1/3 cup favorite yogurt
1/3 cup blueberries, thawed (we thaw them in the microwave, but you can leave them in the fridge overnight)
1. Place biscuit in the bottom of small bowl
2. Pour boiling water over biscuit, letting it all get absorbed
3.Top with yogurt and blueberries
CAUTION: insides can be hot
Enjoy! And if you try this recipe please let us know what you think!
