Healthy Cocoa Balls

One of our favorite snacks! We have been making these for years and still love them. Using dates not only adds sweetness, but also provides fiber as well as other nutrients. The walnuts provide a great source of protein. Try this recipe and let us know what you think!

You will need:
1 cup pitted dates
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup cocoa powder
½ tsp vanilla
1-2 Tbsp of water
Makes 20 1 1/2 inch balls
Method
1. Blend pitted dates, walnuts, old fashioned oats, cocoa powder, and vanilla together in a food processor
2. Add water slowly until desired consistency
3. Roll into 1 ½ inch balls
4. Place in freezer for 5 to 10 minutes Enjoy!
